New Associate Dean of Research
CoE welcomes Mari Ostendorf, a UW professor of electrical engineering, as the Associate Dean of Research beginning 12/18/2008.
Mari served as Associate Chair of Research in her department from 2001 to 2003, is an IEEE and an ISCA Fellow, and received CoE's 2008 Faculty Innovator for Research Award.
She inherits a strong and active office from Dan Schwartz and her experience, creativity, and leadership will be key to maintaining research momentum.
